Thomas L. Brunn, Sr. has been engaged in the practice of law for forty years, and has tried hundreds of civil jury trials in both state and federal court.  Upon graduating from Cleveland-Marshall Law School in 1967, Tom began his legal career in insurance defense and later devoted a large portion of his practice to defending domestic and international manufacturers against products liability lawsuits.

In 1994, Tom redirected his skills and experience to the plaintiff’s bar, and has been working on behalf of injured and aggrieved persons ever since.  His experience as a defense attorney has afforded him valuable insight in negotiating and resolving claims with insurance companies.  In 1998, he formed The Brunn Law Firm Co., L.P.A. with his son, Thomas L. Brunn, Jr., focusing his practice on civil litigation, products liability, and personal injury.  Throughout his career, Tom has been active as a lecturer in continuing legal education seminars.  Tom is AV peer review rated by Martindale Hubbell for ethical standards and legal ability.

Memberships include the Cuyahoga County and American Bar Associations; Eighth Judicial Conference (Life Delegate); Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (Vice Chair, Products Liability Section); Cleveland Association of Civil Trial Attorneys (President, 1982-1983); Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys; Defense Research Institute; Trial Lawyers Association.

Tom grew up in Wooster, Ohio and graduated from Wooster High School.  He later joined the Army, and was honorably discharged as First Lieutenant.  He received his B.S. from John Carroll University, and his J.D. from The Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.  Since high school, Tom has been active as a band leader and musician in jazz bands.

Thomas L. Brunn, Jr. is involved in litigating a wide variety of matters, including automobile, products liability, and medical malpractice claims, and has achieved jury verdicts and settlements in the tens of millions of dollars for his clients.  Tom has also successfully litigated numerous cases involving business and commercial real estate disputes.  Tom is AV peer review rated by Martindale Hubbell for ethical standards and legal ability.

Tom practiced with another Cleveland firm for nine years before teaming with Thomas L. Brunn, Sr. to form The Brunn Law Firm Co., L.P.A.  He also practices extensively out of our Mentor, Ohio office to serve the needs of clients in Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula Counties.

He was appointed a Life Delegate of the Eighth District Judicial Conference, and is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Ohio Association for Justice, and the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys. 

Tom graduated from John Carroll University in 1986 and The Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1989.  A long-time resident of Westlake, he enjoys golfing and fishing in his spare time.

Alison D. Ramsey first joined The Brunn Law Firm Co., L.P.A. as a law clerk in October, 2002, and has served as an associate attorney since graduating Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2004.  Since joining the firm, she has become actively involved in all areas of its practice.  She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, and from 2005-2007, served as the co-editor of its quarterly newsletter.  She is also a member of the Ohio Association for Justice, the Cleveland Bar Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association.

Native to the Greater Cleveland area, Alison graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in 1994.   She received her B.A. in 1998 from The University of Michigan, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and with the University’s High Distinction.  Alison likes to spend her spare time horseback riding or working around her home and garden.

Timothy P. Hartory has been engaged in the practice of law for 35 years.  Tim has an extensive legal background as a former Geauga County Juvenile Referee/Magistrate and a former Lake County Assistant (IVD) Prosecutor.  In addition to being of-counsel to The Brunn Law Firm Co., L.P.A., he also maintains a suburban office in Mentor, Ohio, and practices in the areas of criminal, traffic, juvenile, family, and probate law, as well as debt relief.  He is licensed to practice in federal and state courts in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Tim grew up in Euclid, Ohio, graduated from St. Joseph High School, received his Bachelors of Business Administration at Fenn College (CSU), and graduated Cum Laude with a J.D. from The Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.  Tim enjoys boating in his spare time.
